Not Rosie and Kelli!

If you’ve ever sat down and watched All Aboard, you’ll have no doubt noticed how much Kelli Carpenter and Rosie O’Donnell loved each other and their kids on that cruise. I did, and it made me have faith in lesbian relationships and two-mom families which is why it is so devastating to hear that their relationship is officially on the rocks!

Although they haven’t officially confirmed the separation Rosie did say: “We’re a family, we remain a family and we’re working on the issues,” noting that there are four children whose well-being comes before anything.  The couple married in San Francisco in 2004 and have three adopted children — Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12 and Blake, 9, as well as Vivienne (“Vivi”), 6, whom Carpenter carried.

“They’re adorable and wonderful and they are by far a priority,” O’Donnell said. “Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties,” she said, tears collecting in her eyes. “But everything’s fine and everybody’s good and we’re still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we’re friendly and everything’s all right.”

Fight Club: Larry David vs Rosie O’Donnell

In a fight between Curb Your Enthusiam’s Larry David and our favorite gay cruise director, Rosie O’Donnell, who do you think would win? My money would definitely be on Rosie – have you seen those guns she calls biceps? Well Larry David revealed on David Letterman that he and Rosie O’Donnell did get into fisticuffs, but luckily for him it was all in the name of comedy during the filming for a new episode of Curb. And what did Larry have to say of Rosie’s fight club style? “She’s a formidable opponent.” Yeah, he wants to be saying nice things, doesn’t he Rosie?

In other Rosie news (sounds joyous doesn’t it?), apparently she completely stole the show during her performance in Nora and Delia Ephron’s off-broadway show, Love Life & What I Wore. Two of Rosie’s four kids, Parker (14) and Chelsea (12) were there to see their mom bring the house down during a monologue about handbags.
