OK, so that’s what they’re touting this as – Linday’s naked photoshoot. Truth is – she isn’t naked, but there is nipple (if you’re into that sorta thing)! The sometimesdyke, all-times party animal appears here on the cover of the January issue of Muse magazine in a racy Kate Moss/Johnny Depp inspired photo shoot called “Lindsay Lohan Exposed.” Don’t get too excited – her soul isn’t exposed, just her boobies. I’d love to talk about what she’s wearing, but since it isn’t all that much I’ll just let you enjoy the piccies.

Lindsay Lohan isn’t quitting fashion just yet

Despite the the lukewarm (ok, cold – I’m trying to be nice!) reaction to the launch of her first clothing line, the fashion world hasn’t seen the last of Lindsay! Ms Lohan plans to be much more involved in the next Emanual Ungaro show in Paris in January to avoid anymore surprises when the models hit the runway. Surprises you ask? Well apparently Lindsay wasn’t aware that the models would be wearing those hideous nipple tassels before they walked out. I hope she was as disturbed as we were and that they are definitely gone for good!

We’ll be keeping an eye out for the next show, and *fingers and toes* her show is a massive success next time round.

In Paris this week, Lindsay Lohan released her first clothing line for fashion house, Emanuel Ungaro, after being appointed the brand’s Artistic Advisor. In an attempt to youngerfy (yes I just made that word up) the brand, Lindsay launched clothes in a range of bright colors and included lots of hearts, and the fashion elite don’t like it. One particularly harsh review said, “it was an insult to anyone who had ever really worked in design.”

I have to agree with them. Watching the runway show actually made me cringe. Not with disgust, with disappointment. Lindsay, one of Hollywood’s most photographed and stylish young starlets, teams up with fantastic creative director Estrella Archs, and this is all they could come up with? The clothes were boring and tasteless, and oh-so-done-before. The whole thing was just… dull.

Despite the bad reviews, the ultimate test will be how successful the range is when/if it hits stores, so I’ll keep an eye on sales figures and keep you updated.

Lindsay Lohan & Emanuel Ungaro make sweet sweet… clothes

When Lindsay Lohan was announced as the Artistic Advisor at French fashion house, Emanuel Ungaro, there was a collective “WTF?!” across the fashion and celebrity blogosphere. Everyone was asking the same thing – what does Lilo know about fashion? To be honest it really doesn’t matter what Lilo knows or doesn’t know about fashion because the girl knows how to work the media. And there’s nothing designers like more than seeing their new range on the hot topic of conversation, which is definitely miss Lindsay right now. The CEO of the fashion house has labeled her their new ‘walking billboard’ and he recognizes the value of aligning their brand with someone who may not know everything about fabric and stitching, but who knows how to get her face (and outfit) into every fashion magazine and on every celebrity website.  And the guy gave Stella McCartney her first major break in fashion, so he must know a good thing when he sees it.
