Gossip sites are alive today with news that Samantha Ronson was in Beverly Hills and she.. went outside for a cigarette. It’s not really news, I know, but she looked stylin’ while she did it, so I’m going to talk about it as well. The thing I love most about Samantha Ronson is her consistency when it comes to her wardrobe. She’s got the whole tortured-artist-rock-child-who-doesn’t-give-a-shiz look going on and she totally owns it, every time. And she’s a DJ who doesn’t look like every other metrotastically-groomed DJ in the entire world, which is totally refreshing.

Aside from the smoking, news sources are also reporting that Sam was a hiton the 90210 set during filming for an upcoming episode recently and made friends by chatting about girls!

E!UK caught up with Matt Lanter (Liam) and Michael Steger (Navid) at I Fly Hollywood and the twosome chatted about the DJ’s upcoming guest spot. “Liam’s trying to talk Navid into going over and talking to some girls and Samantha chimes in. It was fun. She’s cool,” said Matt. Plus, it was a surprise for the cast. “She was in the script under some other character’s name,” explains Michael, “and then the day of, Samantha Ronson showed up.”
