When Lindsay Lohan was announced as the Artistic Advisor at French fashion house, Emanuel Ungaro, there was a collective “WTF?!” across the fashion and celebrity blogosphere. Everyone was asking the same thing – what does Lilo know about fashion? To be honest it really doesn’t matter what Lilo knows or doesn’t know about fashion because the girl knows how to work the media. And there’s nothing designers like more than seeing their new range on the hot topic of conversation, which is definitely miss Lindsay right now. The CEO of the fashion house has labeled her their new ‘walking billboard’ and he recognizes the value of aligning their brand with someone who may not know everything about fabric and stitching, but who knows how to get her face (and outfit) into every fashion magazine and on every celebrity website. And the guy gave Stella McCartney her first major break in fashion, so he must know a good thing when he sees it.
